Dark Music is a group that will bring all dark artist together, people who enjoys listening to dark genre kind of music, be it metal, dark or anything along that line If you wish to join, simply send a note to this account with the subject name ‘Requesting Membership’ (although other form of subject with the same intent is fine). We will then take a look at your user page and as long as it is evident that you are a lover of dark music, then you’re in. There are no real requirements for membership at this point of time.

Would you like to help out with this group? Try your luck by sending us a note about it. We'll then consider. Once we have about three, we'll not be accepting anymore. This status might change someday though.

Group rules:

1. When you are accepted, could you please place the Dark Music icon in your journal. You don’t have to place a link in your signature if you don’t wish to, but it would be nice.

2. Please occasionally take the time to check out the galleries of other ~ darkmusic members and give comments on their work.

3. Every now and then, do create an artwork for the club.

Every fortnight, a competition will be held whereby you create an artwork based on a certain theme related to Dark Music.Group collaborations will also occasionally take place when possible. Also we'd be happy to display works by our members in our gallery, so long as there's a relation to Dark Music Simply send us a note with the URL of your work and give us a brief description to accompany your art piece.

If you have any suggestions for a competition or ways for us to improve the club, simply send a note to this account, we’d like to hear what you have to say.

Competition #1
Howdy folks, our first competition begins today! It's a CD cover design competition, as suggested to us by * prelandra. Basically, we want you to design a CD cover (Front and back) of a band/artist of your choice, whether it be metal, goth, industrial, darkwave etc., that's up to you. The group founders are allowed to participate if they wish, but they are not elligle to win, so their participation is purely for fun. The founders will assess the entrees and pick the winner.

Now for the rules:
1. The image size must be 500 x 500 pixels.
2. Doesn't have to be on a specific album.
3. You can come up with your own tracklisting.
4. Both front and back covers must be made.

Truly sorry for the late updates... It's ~blackxbeauty here and I've added 19 new members! I noticed that some of the new members have not put up the group's icon in their journal yet but I've added you guys still. So hopefully you'll have our icon up soon aite. Also, added 2 more affiliates as well as another CD Cover for the competition.
